Article about Vero cells

Widely used in vaccine production and research regarding viruses, Vero cells are one of the mainstays of mammalian cell culture. Yet I suspect many of their users do not necessarily know how Vero cells came to be or what their name means. As with all cell lines, knowing the intricacies (and limitations of a cell line is crucial to getting the most out of using it for research or production. That’s why, after my HEK293 article last month, I have worked on an article about Vero cells which I am very happy to share here!
